The way French women dress, eat, practice beauty routines, parent, spend money, and show up in their careers and social networks all led me to believe that French women were doing something right.
Like many women elsewhere, French women are busy career women, moms, wives, daughters, sisters, etc. Yet, somehow, they still showed up in daily life looking polished, relaxed, confident, and determined.
This was in stark contrast to what I observed from my female peers back home, who are often left feeling depleted, spread thin, uninspired, or just “over” trying. Moms are trying to balance husbands, kids, and work, while single women are trying not to get lost in their careers and achieve some kind of work-life balance.
After working in corporate America many years myself (I worked in the luxury fashion industry) and then living in France among Parisians, I have firsthand experience of not only how different French living is from other cultures, but l’ve learned exactly what savoir-faire the French use to elevate their lifestyle to one of joy, sophistication, and balance.
That art of living that I acquired, combined with years of personal development and mindset work, have helped me manifest a dreamy life where elegance, ease, and effortless abundance flow into it regularly. And it’s all manifested on my terms.
I live each day with both simple and elevated luxuries, and I believe it to be the inherent right of every woman to experience the same.
